PENNCELL is a kind of prefabricated, expanded, three-dimensional reinforcement cellular confinement system to improve the base condition. Widely used for projects of road foundation, slope protection, river bank protection, and retaining walls. Mainly used along with geotextiles. Lightweight and foldable, easy to transport. The Geocell Honeycomb Confinement System is made of a polymer material such as HDPE, which is unfolded at the construction site and then filled with materials such as soil, gravel or sand to form a monolithic reinforcing system used to enhance foundation capacity, prevent lateral slip and control erosion.
